The Lamborghini Gallardo LP600, raced by Blancpain President and CEO Marc A. Hayek and Peter Kox in the 2011 Blancpain Endurance Series is being offered for auction at the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco with proceeds in aid of the Monaco Association Against Muscular Dystrophy.

15/04/2012: Eventful qualifying for United Autosports McLarens

During qualifying for the Blancpain Endurance Series at Monza on Saturday, the United Autosports Pro Cup crew of Matt Bell (England), David Brabham (Australia) and Álvaro Parente (Portugal) brought the McLaren MP4-12C GT3 across the line as the second fastest McLaren GT in the field.

My brain hurts. It isn’t the Italian wine, it is this entry list. OK, look: fifty six cars, with two and in some cases three drivers gives one a fair bit of homework to do. That isn’t the biggest problem: the real issue is I am no clearer on who is going to win this race, even after qualifying.
